June 2022 Collection
Monthly Collections are items that are released each month that contain a selection of other items within. They can be bought from the Cash Shop for 250 CSC during the month in their name. They were first introduced in January 2009 as a replacement for donation presents.[1]
Collections were originally released on the 1st of the month, but as of January 2022 they now release on the 3rd.[2] Starting in June 2015, all previous years' monthly collection and donation presents are available for the duration of their given month.[3]
Collection Items[]
When opening a collection, you are able to choose one of the included items. If there are any Transformable Items inside, only one variation of the item will be listed. Any transformable items will have their other forms listed in their description.[4] Collections from after August 2012 have always contained a transforming wig with a masculine and feminine variation. Prior to that, transforming wigs were only sometimes included.
When monthly collections were first introduced, they each contained ten items, not counting other forms of any transformable items. In January 2017, the amount of items in each new collection was reduced to five.[5] Starting in February 2011, all items in a given collection are listed in the news post announcing its release, including all variations of any transformable items.
While a monthly collection itself has a Rarity of 125 (Cash Shop), any items found within have their own special rarity, 110.
Weapons[]
The December 2012 Collection was the last to include a weapon, as many previous collections had. Instead, monthly cash shop weapons would be available from defeating new Cash Shop Challengers introduced in January 2013.[6] For 2013, the cash shop shop challengers matched the collection theme for each month. All following challengers have had their own distinct theme separate from that of collections.
Collection Themes[]

All items in a collection started following a shared theme in January 2012.[7] Prior to that, some items in a collection might share a loose theme but were often unrelated. Items released through other areas of the site, particularly the Quest Shop, will often match that month's collection theme.
All collections in a given year will share an item image, with different colors for each month. Since the introduction of shared themes, the colors of a collection bag will reflect the theme of its month. There is often a charm or pattern on the bag which will also change to match the theme.
Multi-Month Item Sets[]
From 2009 to 2011, prior to the introduction of shared themes, there were various series of themed items released which spanned multiple collections. Many of these items were transformable. These series included:
- January 2009-December 2009: Gemstone-encrusted Pet Plushies.
- Many collections in 2009 contained multiple other birthstone themed items, notably weapons and wigs, but these items were not consistently released in each month.

Donation Presents[]
The Donation Present was introduced in July 2005, and contained 10-17 items which would change each month.[8] If a donation present was not opened before the end of a given month, the items from that particular month would no longer be available from it and it would instead contain the items from the current month. The item received was random, and what items the donation present contained were not fully announced. The donation present was intended to be a more affordable option compared to other donation items.[9]
In May 2006, donation presents were changed to monthly donation presents, which no longer changed items each month.[10] This change was not applied retroactively, so any preexisting donation presents became May 2006 Donation Presents and any items from prior months were no longer available. Items given from a monthly donation present were still random.
Starting in July 2016, items from a donation present can now be selected, like with monthly collections, instead of being randomly chosen.[11] This change was applied to each month's donation presents as they were re-released through June 2017.
