Temictzin runs the fishing game

Fishing is a chance Game located in the Omen Islands. The game has been run by Temictzin since August 2016.[1] The game was previously run by an Ontra named Bob.
It costs 1,000 sP to play the fishing game, and there is a one hour wait between games. After completing a game, you are able to set an alert which will send you a notification when you are able to play again.
How to Play[]

The object of the game is to find the hidden treasure, and you do so by selecting points on the fishing map. After starting the game, you are able to select any spot on the fishing map by clicking on it; you get a total of five clicks per game. The first click will bring you to a page that tells you "This was your first move, so I can't tell you if you were hot or cold from your last one!" After your first selection, each subsequent click will tell you if you are getting closer or farther from the treasure - either "You are getting very close to the best fishing spot!" or "You were closer to the best fishing spot on your last pick!" You then click the "Pick another spot!" link to make your next selection. There will be no indication on the map of what your previous selection was.
Once you have made all five selections, you will receive an item prize. The quality of the prize depends on how close to the treasure you got. You will get a hint as to how close you got when the game is over, which will be one of the following messages:
- How did you manage to get that far away from the treasure?
- You were nowhere near it!
- If you had just gotten a little closer!
- You were so close!
The hidden treasure, if found, is 1 million sP.[2]
Despite the map being broken into a grid, the selections you make are actually by pixel. This can be seen through the URLs of the possible spots you can click. Since the fishing map is an 800x800 pixel image, the chance of selecting the treasure spot is 0.0007%.[3]
Prizes[]
The items that can be won from fishing all follow the theme of the game, and are either fish or fishing related items. Most older fishing prizes received a revamp in June 2014.[4]. New fishing prizes were added in July 2018, while the most recent prizes were added in August and September of 2019.[5][6][7]

Battle Opponents[]
If the item you win from fishing contains the word "worm," you will unlock Angry Angry Arnold, an easy difficulty Battle Opponent. There is also a random chance while playing the fishing game to unlock Grumpy Fish, a medium difficulty battle opponent. Once discovered, both Angry Angry Arnold and Grumpy Fish can be permanently found in the secret opponents tab of the Battle Coliseum.
